One notable project was the new office built in Basingstoke. Gradeon decommissioned the old communications room from the existing office in Newbury and transported the equipment to the new five-floor office building in Basing View. Working closely with the IT team, Gradeon installed the equipment into new racks in the two communications rooms. Additionally, they took an inventory of the existing desktop equipment, organised the relocation to the new office area, set up desking, connected screens, PCs, and printers, and ensured network connectivity.
More recently, Gradeon has been involved with the Surrey and Borders NHS Trust. They were asked to attend the site of the old ACU hospital in Leatherhead, which was being decommissioned. Gradeon took the pressure off of the incumbent IT team by conducting inventories of the existing equipment, including network gear, desktop PCs and monitors. They organised the transportation of equipment to three different locations: a temporary hospital, a new office building over three floors, and an existing office location. Gradeon’s significant on-site team set up desktop equipment, communications room server equipment, carried out communications room patching, and ensured all desktop kit was connected to the network and could login. Additionally, they organised AV installation for the ward social rooms and meeting rooms across the estate.
